STRATA-TROL® is an innovative blend of variable softening point, naturally occurring asphaltine, pre-coupled and combined with select resins.

This unique combination allows STRATA-TROL® to exhibit the particle integrity needed to seal micro fractured shales and underbalanced sands while promoting exceptional HTHP fluid loss reductions. Minimizing fluid contact with reactive formations, sealing permeable underbalanced sands and deposition of a thin lubricated filter cake are characteristics of STRATA-TROL®.

A system treatment followed by high concentration sweeps is recommended. The sweeps should be incorporated to maintain system concentrations. A high concentration pill can be spotted across problematic zones prior to logging or running casing.
